Together We Can

Amethyst

Welcome to Amethyst Class, 2018-2019.

In our class, we have 30 wonderful year four and five children alongside our teaching team Miss McCabe and Mrs Sanderson.

The Amethyst family work hard, show respect and enjoy being in school and taking part in a wide curriculum.

Our PE days this term are Tuesdays and Fridays.

Homework is given out each Wednesday and is to be returned with two completed missions the following Monday. Similarly, the children's reading diaries will be checked each Monday with an expectation of the children to have read at least 3x each week. Thank you for all of your support with Accelerated Reader so far, the progress and confidence is already beginning to show greatly in school! Spellings will also be tested each Monday - if your child is finding a particular week's spellings relatively easy, please refer to the non-negotiable spellings in their homework books or the national curriculum spellings for their year group.

If you would like any further support with anything at all, please don't hesitate to contact one of the teaching team before or after school on the playground: we'll be more than happy to help!
