Drop off time

Drop off time in the morning is 8.40am until 8.50am. At 8.50am, the gates will be closed. The children will be registered from 8.50am until 9.00am. At 9.00am, all of the children in the school will begin their learning. Children arriving after 9.00am will be marked as late on the register. 

The children will be expected to be dropped off at the gates in the morning and walk around to their classes independently. Younger children in school may need accompanying around if appropriate.  There will be a member of staff, usually the Headteacher, on duty in the morning to meet and greet. 

If you are running late, then please call the office on 01773 872384 and inform Mrs Frost Morris. 

Collection Time

At collection time, parents/carers are invited to make there way onto the playground. Diamond and Emerald class will be dismissed at 3.15pm. Due to the age of these children, we would expect to hand every child over to a trusted adult collecting. 

Key Stage Two classes (Topaz, Amethyst & Ruby classes) will be dismissed at 3.20pm. The class teacher will be on the playground at this time but we expect many of the children to find their parents/carers on the playground or walk home (if permission has been granted). 

Total teaching time

Reception and KS1 teaching hours amount to 6 hours 10 minutes per day. 

KS2 teaching hours amount to 6 hours 15 minutes per day. 

Parking

Please be respectful of residents when parking and please ensure entrances are not obstructed. There is usually a high volume of traffic from 8.30-9.00am and 3.00-3.30pm so please take extra care during this time.
